Cancellation Policy

Attending all your appointments on time is essential for your treatment and progress. Research reflects that clients who are motivated and eager for change, value their therapy appointments and make them a priority. Counsellors such as myself rent our office space, so if you cancel your appointment in short notice, we lose financially. Therefore, should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I respectfully request a 48 hours' notice. You likely will be charged full fee for your session if you cancel after the 48 hours.

Sudden illness and emergencies happen, so if you suddenly come down with an illness, please ring me on 0412 121 580 as soon as possible.
Medicare Rebate
Counsellors do not qualify for the Medicare Rebate scheme. In Australia, one notable difference between psychologists and counsellors with advanced degrees who report to the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) is their eligibility for Medicare reimbursement.

-
Counsellors such as Natalie with Masters degrees who are members of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) often adjust their fees to align closely with the Medicare gap fee. This practice aims to make counselling services more financially accessible for clients who would otherwise seek services from Medicare-eligible psychologists
